1. Our commitment
Strategic Sourcing Alliance Limited is committed to conducting business lawfully, ethically and transparently. Because we source mission-critical technology, including items that may be dual-use, compliance is built into every stage of our work, from first enquiry to final delivery.
2. Export control
We comply with Regulation (EU) 2021/821 on dual-use items, Irish export control legislation and, where applicable, the export rules of the countries in which our partners operate. We classify items before shipment, obtain the licences required and do not proceed with any transaction where authorisation has not been granted.
3. Sanctions
We screen counterparties, their beneficial owners and stated end users against EU, UN and other applicable sanctions lists. We do not trade with sanctioned persons or destinations, and we require end-use and end-user declarations where the nature of a product calls for it. Potential matches are reviewed manually by our compliance team.
4. Anti-bribery and anti-corruption
We have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in any form. Our staff and partners must not offer, give, request or accept any improper payment or advantage, and must comply with the Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018 and equivalent laws.
5. Responsible sourcing
We expect every manufacturer and supplier in our network to:
- respect human rights and prohibit forced, compulsory or child labour
- provide safe and fair working conditions
- meet applicable environmental, quality and product safety requirements
- avoid conflict minerals and provide traceability for critical materials
- maintain accurate documentation and certificates of conformity
6. Quality and traceability
We work only with certified manufacturers and keep documentation that traces components and systems back to their source. This supports our clients' own audit, certification and regulatory obligations.
7. Data protection and confidentiality
We process personal data in line with the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Acts, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Client information is treated as confidential, and we sign non-disclosure agreements before sensitive project details are exchanged.
8. Reporting concerns
Anyone who suspects a breach of law or of this statement in connection with SSA can report it confidentially to joul@ssalimited.com. We investigate every report and do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
9. Review
We review this statement and our compliance procedures regularly and update them when the law, our services or our partner network change.
